More than twenty UCDS parents joined UCDS teachers, Jen Vary, Melissa Holbert and Melissa Chittenden at a parent workshop focused on math.

They talked about the importance of students learning the “why” behind the arithmetic. Parents also learned more about the Math Vitamin program and how is supports a variety of learning styles; building confident and capable mathematicians.
