Infant-Toddler Education Enrollment

Thank you for your interest in the UCDS Infant-Toddler Education Program! We are now accepting enrollment requests for the 2026-27 school year, which will begin in September 2026.  Begin the enrollment process by following the steps below.

Step 1: Register and Attend a Virtual Information Session

In order to be eligible for 2026-27 enrollment, at least one parent/guardian must attend a virtual information session where you will learn about:

  • Our philosophical approach and beliefs about how young children learn
  • What to expect on a typical school day
  • Key “nuts and bolts” information
  • Next steps in the enrollment process and lottery

Step 2: Complete an Enrollment Request Form

After attending a virtual information session, you will receive an invitation to complete an enrollment request form via the brightwheel app. Once you complete and submit the enrollment request form, your child will be entered into the lottery for any openings for the 2026-27 school year.

Please note: You can only access the enrollment request form through the link that will be sent AFTER attending a virtual information session.

Step 3: Await the Enrollment Lottery

We will begin making enrollment offers in late February 2026 for the upcoming school year which will begin in September 2026. We use a lottery system in which all students in the wait pool who match the enrollment criteria (age-group and available schedule) are randomized and assigned a number, and then drawn using a random number generator. Enrollment lottery draws will continue through the spring and possibly into the summer until all spaces have been filled.

Enrollment Policy

The UCDS Infant-Toddler Education Program seeks to create a balanced and diverse group of learners. Enrollment requests are automatically added to the wait pool, and are the only way a placement will be offered. Joining the wait pool does not guarantee enrollment of a child.

When enrolling new students we take into consideration the makeup of the current class and requested schedules. Openings will be filled first by families interested in five days per week. Families seeking two-day or three-day enrollment will be considered if any openings remain. In the case that several children qualify for an opening, a lottery system will be used.

Enrollment in the UCDS Infant-Toddler Education Program is not linked with admission to the UCDS Early Elementary and Elementary Programs.

Tuition Rates

Annual tuition rates reflect enrollment for the school day, which runs from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm. Families are asked to sign a 12-month agreement beginning in September. The Infant-Toddler Education Program offers multiple payment options. Families may choose to pay the full annual amount or enroll in one of our payment plans.

The Infant-Toddler Education Program offers an Extended Day Program (EDP) option charged at a monthly rate. Morning EDP is from 7:30 am-8:15 am. Afternoon EDP is from 3:00 pm- 5:30 pm. EDP fees are based on the number of days a child is enrolled and are for specific days of the week and cannot be transferred. Fees are determined through an automatically recurring, monthly agreement with the tuition rates found above.

UCDS shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, ethnicity, gender, disability, or sexual orientation in employment or on the administration of its educational programs, admission policies, financial aid programs, athletic or other school administered programs. UCDS will make reasonable accommodations to enable a qualified student with a disability to attend UCDS.
